About Me

I was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where I was named to the President’s List and graduated cum laude. Before entering law school, I worked as a Realtor with RGV Realty. Over time, however, I realized that I wanted to pursue a profession that would allow me to engage more directly with complex problems, advocate for others, and build a lasting career for my family. That realization led me to the study of law.

During law school, I gained practical experience through several roles that strengthened my understanding of both civil and criminal legal practice. As an intern with the Office of the City Attorney in Lansing, Michigan, I worked on civil matters and challenged myself by taking on responsibilities as a student prosecutor. I further developed my legal skills as a student attorney in the Sixty Plus Elder Law Clinic, where I assisted clients with estate planning matters and learned the importance of clear, client-centered legal guidance.

My professional interests are primarily in real estate and personal injury. I aim to build a career focused on helping clients understand and navigate the legal system while protecting their rights and interests. I approach the practice of law with a commitment to integrity, careful analysis, and professional responsibility.

I graduated from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in December 2025 and sat for the February 2026 bar exam. I intend to build my legal career with the goal of practicing in both Texas and Michigan.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy exercising, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family. I am particularly inspired by the stories of individuals who have overcome adversity, a perspective that continues to shape my determination and work ethic.

Family has been a central motivation throughout my legal education. I am the proud father of two children. When I was accepted to law school, I made the difficult decision to leave my fiancée and children in Texas while I pursued my studies in Michigan. The distance was challenging, but it reinforced my commitment to completing my legal education and building a future that would benefit my family.

I look forward to continuing to develop my legal career and contributing meaningfully to the clients and communities I serve.
