Why Having Your Own Agent Matters

Real estate transactions can be complex. Every property owner typically has their own Listing Agent who represents them and whose job is to market the property and negotiate the best possible terms on the owner’s behalf.

But who represents you?

That is where I come in.

As your real estate agent, my role is to advocate for your interests throughout the transaction, within the authority granted to me by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC). Having your own representation helps level the playing field and ensures you have professional guidance every step of the way.

While a Listing Agent may help guide you through the transaction, their fiduciary duty is to the property owner, not to you. A fiduciary duty means having a legal obligation to act with loyalty and care in someone’s best interest.

You should never feel like you have to navigate a real estate transaction alone. My goal is to provide clear guidance, honest communication, and professional representation so you can make informed decisions with confidence.
